Description
The Ciacci Piccolomini d'Aragona property is located in the municipality of Montalcino, in the middle of the gentle Tuscan hills. A family property since 1983. Currently run by Paolo Bianchini and his sister Lucia. They produce high quality wines in cooperation with winemaker Paolo Vagaggini. 40 hectares of vineyards are planted on shale and marl soils. The property has a solid reputation as a specialist in the Brunello appellation. Most of the estate's vineyards are planted with Sangiovese clones, but French varieties Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon are also grown.
