The Black Truffle Red is a wine creation that arises from the fusion of grapes from two distinct plots located in the Cima Corgo sub-region, in the Douro. The first plot, located in Valença do Douro, houses a century-old vineyard, over 70 years old, made up of an eclectic mix of around 30 native grape varieties. Positioned between 300 and 350 meters above sea level, this vineyard, facing North, provides a unique uniqueness to the wine. The second plot, on the banks of Foz do Rio Távora, approximately 30 years old, displays a combination of grape varieties, including Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz.
Regarding the sensorial profile, Truffle Negra presents a notable concentration in aroma, revealing nuances of black fruits and spices. In the mouth, it stands out for its corpulence, offering a complex gustatory experience in which notes of dark fruits stand out, accompanied by intense and integrated tannins. These tannins give the wine a long and refreshing finish. Truffle Negra reveals itself not only as a quality wine, but also as an exceptionally versatile choice for gastronomic pairings.
