The Reserva do Comendador range honors the life and work of Comendador Rui Nabeiro. Complex and elegant, this special wine is aromatically enveloping, suggesting notes of spice, chocolate, wildflowers, and macerated wild fruit. A wine that marks important moments and promises to remain forever in memory. Vinification of Comendador Reserva Tinto: After manual harvesting and careful selection of bunches, the grapes ferment at controlled temperature in 5000 L French oak vats. Malolactic fermentation took place in 1st and 2nd year French oak barrels, where the wine aged for an additional 18 months. After selecting the best barrels, it was bottled and rested in the bottle until its release.
