At an entry-level quality level for Real Companhia Velha wines, Evel has maintained a solid reputation for many years. Evel wine is produced from vineyards located in the famous Quinta do Casal da Granja and Quinta do Cidrô, located in the municipalities of Alijó and S. João da Pesqueira, respectively. Winemaking of Evel Reserva Red Wine 2020: Produced from plots of old vineyards , fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats, with temperature control. All of the wine ages for 12 months in new French oak barrels, in Vila Nova de Gaia.
Intense Ruby
Very full-bodied, harmonious, round with flavors of black fruit and well-integrated wood, ending with a very long finish, crowned by excellent acidity.
Varietal aromas, such as notes of very ripe red fruit complexed with hints of vanilla from the wood
