Description
The Maria Teresa vineyard is a century-old vineyard, its name a tribute to the first granddaughter of the founder of Quinta do Crasto, Constantino de Almeida. A vineyard with a unique terroir where its incomparable diversity of grape varieties, east-facing exposure, and low yields allow the creation of a singular wine, with exceptional concentration and complexity.
After a rigorous selection, the grapes are crushed in traditional granite lagares, then transferred to stainless steel tanks where alcoholic fermentation is completed, followed by aging for 20 months in 225-liter oak barrels.
The Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa will benefit from bottle aging and should be decanted before serving.
