Produced only in truly special years, when small plots of the best vineyards are selected, this wine shows the enormous aging potential of the Douro Superior. Winemaker Jorge Moreira carefully selects the best plots and subsequently, at the end of the aging process, the best barrels to build a wine of enormous identity and character. It then ages in the bottle and only when it reaches an optimal point of evolution will it be released onto the market. Still relatively young, Grande Reserva balances complexity and freshness, highlighting the best qualities of the Douro Valley. Owned by the Bergqvist family from Quinta de la Rosa, the Passagem vineyards come from their Quinta in the Douro Superior. Grapes: 50% Touriga Nacional and 50% Touriga Franca.
