The Quinta das Carvalhas 10 Years in Decanter Port is one of the beautiful Ports produced at this emblematic Quinta, made from several Duriense grape varieties planted on the property. The designation 10 Years is attributed to this distinct batch of different Port Wines, rigorously selected and aged in the best oak casks, which has a character and an average age corresponding to the designation 10 years. Its presentation in a Decanter reflects the tradition of serving Port Wine, often necessary in Port Wine. Port Winemaking Quintas das Carvalhas 10 Years Decanter: Port Wines dedicated to 10 year old batches are fermented either in traditional lagares, where greater extraction and power is achieved, or in stainless steel autovinifiers where softer and more elegant wines are produced. Candidates for the 10-year batch do internships on oak barrels and rafts.
