O Château Boyd-Cantenac 2005 é um vinho excecional, fruto de uma colheita marcada por uma seca prolongada e temperaturas elevadas, mas com condições ideais para terroirs de raízes profundas. Com uma maturação lenta e cuidadosa entre 26 de setembro e 21 de outubro, as uvas desenvolveram-se pequenas e concentradas, resultando num mosto rico em açúcar e equilíbrio perfeito. No nariz, apresenta aromas elegantes, intensos e complexos, enquanto no paladar revela uma entrada cremosa, seguida por uma explosão aromática e um final envolto em taninos nobres, suaves e saborosos, que fazem deste vinho uma das melhores produções já realizadas.
