The Varadero 3 Years Rum was distilled, aged, and bottled in Santiago de Cuba, the birthplace of "modern" rum. Founded in 1862, it was the first brand and distillery to produce an aged rum, in the style that this beverage has today. Created in Cuba's oldest distillery, the "Nave Don Pancho," and made from the fermentation and distillation of sugarcane, with subsequent aging in oak barrels.
