The grapes to produce this wine come from the Carril vineyard, a vineyard over 70 years old facing north, and from old vineyards about 100 years old, near Quinta de Nápoles. Batuta results from a delicate vinification, with prolonged macerations but little extraction where every detail is carefully considered to obtain a complex, fine, and elegant wine. It is full of concentration, typical of the old vineyards of Douro, but at the same time fresh and delicate.
