Description
Vinos de los Herederos del Marqués de Riscal was, since its foundation in 1858, the pioneering winery in Rioja. It was the first to produce Rioja wines aged in barrels. The lively sensations of Marqués de Riscal take shape in the City of Wine, where tradition and avant-garde coexist in perfect harmony.
Made with Tempranillo and Graciano varieties, from vineyards over 15 years old. It is harvested by hand and aged for 24 months in American oak barrels. Balsamic aroma with notes of ripe fruit, in the mouth it is fresh, light and persistent, with soft and round tannins.
This wine goes well with ham, less mature cheeses, stews with less spicy sauces, cooked or stewed legumes, poultry, red meat, grilled and roasted meats.
Service temperature between 16 and 18ºC.
