Quinta dos Murças Margem 2021 stammt aus Weinbergen am Ufer des Flusses Douro, wo sich einige der ältesten Parzellen der Farm befinden. Die geringe Höhenlage und die Sonneneinstrahlung, hauptsächlich im Süden, führen zu Trauben, die eine höhere Konzentration und Reifung erreichen. Vinifikation des Tinto Quinta das Murças Margem 2017: Manuelle Ernte, Selektionstisch, Entrappen, Zerkleinern, alkoholische Gärung mit einheimischen Hefen Kontrollierte Temperaturen (25 °C bis 28 °C) in Granitmühlen durch Fußtreten und Pressen in einer alten Vertikalpresse. Reifung in gebrauchten 500-Liter-Fässern aus französischer Eiche für etwa 9 Monate.
Tief, mit violetten Nuancen
Konzentriert präsentiert er sehr reife Tannine, die ihm zusammen mit der gut eingebundenen Säure ein Gefühl von Volumen, Körper und Frische verleihen. Es hat einen sehr langen und anhaltenden Abgang, in dem die Aromen reiferer Früchte dominieren, was eine lange Haltbarkeit ermöglicht.
Sehr intensiv und üppig, dominiert von reifen schwarzen Früchten wie Brombeeren und Cassis, balsamischen Aromen wie Zistrose und sanften Gewürznoten, die durch die Reifung in gebrauchtem Holz entstehen.
