Die Trauben für diesen Wein stammen überwiegend aus dem Vale de Mendiz, im Herzen des Cima Corgo. Die Weinbereitung erfolgte auf traditionelle Weise. Die Trauben wurden zu Fuß gestampft und in Lagares vergoren, und die Reifung fand in unseren kühlen Kellern in Vila Nova de Gaia in großen alten Holzfässern statt.
