Vinifikation des Rotweins Leo D'Honor 2015: Gärung in Edelstahltanks mit längerer Mazeration auf der Schale für 4 Wochen. Geschichte: Der Kern des Wappens von Fernando Pó, einem Seefahrer aus dem 14. Jahrhundert, bestand aus einem Löwen, der sich darauf vorbereitet springen. Er hat sich nun für diesen Leo d’Honor-Wein entschieden, weil er nach Leonor klingt und wirklich der Ehrenlöwe der Weine aus Fernando Pó ist, der vielleicht einzigartigsten Weinregion des Landes.
Im Mund komplex mit leichten Nuancen von Tabak und Schokolade aus der 18-monatigen Reifung in französischen Eichenfässern. Es ist ein sehr körperreicher Wein mit präsenten Tanninen und einem eleganten Nachgeschmack.
