Whisky Oban 10 years - Special release 2024 The Oban distillery, located on the west coast of the Scottish Highlands, revealed in 2024 an exclusive edition of its 10-year-old single malt, called "Coastal Orchard." This version stands out for reflecting the typical maritime character of the distillery, complemented by nuances of orchard fruits. The whisky underwent an initial maturation stage in reused American oak barrels and was then finished in barrels of the same wood, recently charred and previously impregnated with Oloroso sherry. This method provides greater depth and complexity to the drink's profile, resulting in a balanced fusion of flavors.
