HM Borges Tinta Negra 2005 verkörpert die Exzellenz der Madeira-Weine und ist ein einzigartiger Jahrgang von außergewöhnlicher Qualität. Dieser Wein wird ausschließlich aus der Rebsorte Tinta Negra hergestellt, die rund 85 % der Gesamtproduktion in der Region ausmacht, und reift prächtig in Eichenfässern. Die im 18. Jahrhundert eingeführte und erfolgreich in Câmara de Lobos im Süden und São Vicente im Norden angebaute Sorte weist mittelgroße bis kleine Beeren mit einer dünnen und weichen Schale auf.
