Ein prägnantes, nicht kraftvolles Bouquet, viel raffinierter und diskreter, das sich nach und nach entfaltet und ein subtiles Element von Meer/Marine offenbart. Der Gaumen ist am Anfang wieder sehr dezent und entwickelt sich in einem eisigen Tempo. Er ist wunderbar ausgewogen, mit feinen Tanninen, ziemlich linear und strukturiert, baut sich sanft auf und endet mit einem wunderbaren Salzgehalt (wodurch das Meeresthema fortgesetzt wird). Hinweis: Ich habe diesen Wein tatsächlich einige Stunden später noch einmal probiert, weil er zuvor so verschlossen war und sich schließlich öffnete, was für diesen Pomerol untypisch ist. Es ist ein wunderbarer Petrus, aber er verdient die Reifung in der Flasche und das Dekantieren.
