Callabriga ist ein Douro-Rotwein mit einem modernen, intensiven und eleganten Profil, der die Vielseitigkeit und den aufregenden aktuellen Charakter der Douro-Weine widerspiegelt. Callabriga ist einer der innovativsten Weine von Casa Ferreirinha, der Marke mit der größten Tradition für Qualitätsweine im Douro und einer ihrer größten globalen Referenzen. Er wird im Weinkeller Quinta da Leda aus Trauben vinifiziert, die von Parzellen in der Region stammen der Quinta und der benachbarten Weinberge. Es werden Trauben mit ausgewogener Reifung ausgewählt, die auf einen günstigen Vegetationszyklus zurückzuführen sind. Nach dem Entrappen und sanften Zerkleinern werden die Trauben in Edelstahltanks und/oder Pressen geschickt, wo eine längere Mazeration stattfindet. Ziel dieser Technologie ist es, dass die in den Schalen reifer Trauben enthaltenen Qualitätsbestandteile reibungslos in den Wein übergehen.
