Rum El Dorado ist ein einzigartiger Rum, da er der einzige Rum im „Rum Demerara“-Stil ist und über die ältesten noch in Betrieb befindlichen Holzdestillierapparate der Welt verfügt, von denen einige aus dem 17. Jahrhundert stammen. Ein außergewöhnlicher Premium-Bernstein-Rum, leicht vollmundig und in ehemaligen Bourbonfässern gereift. El Dorado 8 Year Old ist das Ergebnis des Wissens der Master Blender und besteht aus gereiften Rumsorten, die aus mindestens vier der traditionellen Holzdestillierapparate stammen, die in der Demerara-Brennerei aufbewahrt werden, darunter der originale Coffey-Holzdestillierapparat Enmore und der Doppeldestillierapparat aus Holz Enmore Holz. Dieser Rum ist eine komplexe Mischung aus kräftigem, vollmundigem Rum und einem weicheren Rum.
