Hierbei handelt es sich um einen sehr alten Madeira-Wein, der als „Frasqueira“ klassifiziert ist und Teil der Weinsammlung der Familie war, der dieses Weinunternehmen gehört. Es wird aus der Sorte Boal, einer edlen Rebsorte, in Jahren hoher Qualität und ausgezeichneter Ernte hergestellt, wobei Trauben aus den besten Weinbergen der Insel Madeira verwendet werden. Vor der Abfüllung reifte er lange Zeit in alten Eichenfässern bei der in den Lagerhäusern dieses jahrhundertealten Unternehmens empfohlenen Temperatur. Auf diese Weise gelang es ihm, sich zu einem charakteristischen Madeirawein zu entwickeln, der auf die Rebsorte zurückzuführen ist, aus der er hergestellt wurde, mit hochwertiger Struktur, Aroma und vollmundigem Geschmack.
