Vinifizierung des Portos Quinta da Romaneira LBV 2018: Die Trauben wurden zu Fuß zerdrückt, um den Most zu extrahieren, und anschließend in den Edelstahltanks der Quinta mazeriert. Diese Methode wurde gewählt, um die beste Extraktion von Farbe, Aromen und phenolischen Verbindungen zu erzielen. Reifung: Prozess der Reifung von 5 Jahren in Eichenfässern, im Gegensatz zur 2-jährigen Dauer eines klassischen Vintage. Dieser verlängerte Reifungszeitraum ist der Grund für seinen Namen, "Late Bottled Vintage". Diese längere Reifung im Fass trägt zu einem weicheren Wein bei und verleiht ihm einen außergewöhnlich zugänglichen Stil, der bereit ist, genossen zu werden, sobald er abgefüllt wird.
