Der Branco Redoma Reserva 2022 wird aus Trauben alter Reben hergestellt, die 600 Meter über dem Meeresspiegel auf Glimmerschieferböden gepflanzt sind. Seit seiner Gründung (1995) bestand das Hauptziel bei der Herstellung dieses Weins darin, den Charakter der alten Douro-Reben zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Am Ende des Reifungsprozesses werden die besten Fässer unter Berücksichtigung ihrer Mineralität, Komplexität und ihres Alterungspotenzials ausgewählt.
Im Mund ist er lebendig und elektrisierend mit einem langen, leicht salzigen Abgang.
