Vinha da Ponte ist eine sehr steile Parzelle mit Rebsorten, die vor 100 Jahren auf der Quinta do Crasto gepflanzt wurde. Sehr geringe Erträge und eine hohe Fruchtintensität gaben uns die Möglichkeit, diesen einzigartigen Wein von außergewöhnlicher Konzentration und Komplexität zu kreieren. Die Früchte wurden per Fuß in einem einzigen Granittank namens „Lagar“ zerkleinert und in einem kleinen offenen Bottich vergoren, bevor sie 20 Monate lang in den besten französischen Eichenfässern reiften. Ohne Filtration abgefüllt, muss er vor dem Servieren sorgfältig dekantiert werden. Es wird sich durch einen sehr langen Keller auszahlen.
