Gelegen in São João da Pesqueira, einer der bekanntesten Weinbaugebiete des Douro, hat sich die Quinta de Cidrô zu einem Modell für weinbauliche Experimente in der gesamten Region entwickelt. Auf unberührtem Land wurde Spitzentechnologie eingesetzt, um die besten Rebsorten auf einer Fläche von über 150 ha zu pflanzen. Weinbereitung des Quinta de Cidrô Sauvignon Blanc Weißweins: Die Trauben werden in einer pneumatischen Presse gepresst, anschließend erfolgt die Gärung in Edelstahltanks mit Temperaturkontrolle. 100 % des Weins werden für einen Zeitraum von 3 Monaten in Edelstahltanks gelagert, bevor er abgefüllt wird.
