Van Zellers & Co 2023 VZ Douro Branco é produzido com uvas autóctones do Douro, encontradas em vinhas mais velhas, cultivadas no distrito de Murça a cerca de 500 m de altitude. Este vinho é Crafted by Hand, o que significa que a mistura é uma das partes mais importantes da vinificação. Seleccionamos uma vinha velha (cerca de 70 anos), e criamos um blend com Viosinho, Rabigato, Códega de Larinho, Gouveio e Arinto.Vinificação: Todas as uvas são colhidas à mão e selecionadas antes de serem desengaçadas e levemente esmagadas por uma prensa pneumática. A acidez do mosto é cuidadosamente medida e apenas o primeiro mosto é fermentado e envelhecido em barricas novas e usadas de carvalho francês (225 e 500 litros). O vinho envelhece nas mesmas barricas por mais 9 meses com battonage, antes do lote final.
