An den steilen, zerklüfteten Hängen des Flusses Douro im Norden Portugals erstrecken sich Weinberge in Terrassen. Im Epizentrum dieser Region produziert Quinta do Noval seit 1715 seine herrlichen Portweine.
Dieser gereifte Tawny wird aus Weinen hergestellt, die ein Jahrzehnt lang in Fässern reiften und 2020 in Flaschen abgefüllt wurden. Er verströmt ein komplexes und fruchtiges Bouquet, das sich mit einem attraktiven Aroma von Trockenfrüchten verbindet. Im Mund präsentiert er sich reichhaltig, geschmeidig und elegant und gipfelt in einem langen und köstlichen Abgang. Leicht gekühlt als raffinierter Aperitif oder als Begleiter zu erlesenen Desserts oder Käsesorten servieren.
