Die schöne Bernsteinfarbe weist auf eine längere Alterung hin. Das Aroma ist von großer Komplexität und vermischt Noten von Kakao, Likör, exotischem Holz, Zigarrenschachtel, Sauerkirsche und Trockenfrüchten. Er behält den Stil des Hauses in seinem strengen Profil bei, sehr trocken, ohne jegliche Verschleierung, wobei die Tannine des Holzes dem sehr langen, ernsten und deutlichen Abgang Kraft verleihen.
