Vinifizierung des Weins Herdade do Freixo Reserva Tinto 2019: Die Trauben der verschiedenen ausgewählten Sorten werden entsprechend ihrem idealen Reifezustand geerntet, in 20-kg-Kisten gesammelt und sofort vinifiziert. Nach dem Entrappen werden sie mittels Schwerkraft in die Gärbehälter transportiert, wo die Gärung bei moderaten Temperaturen über 20 Tage mit einer verlängerten Maischestandzeit erfolgt, die diesem Wein eine außergewöhnliche aromatische Komplexität verleiht. Die 12-monatige Reifung in neuem französischem Holz verleiht ihm eine bemerkenswerte Komplexität und Eleganz. Die Flaschenreifung dauert mehr als 8 Monate.
