Der URTIGA 2018 stammt aus dem Weinberg Urtiga, wo dreiundsechzig Sorten einheimischer Reben identifiziert wurden. In diesem Weinberg wird eine 100% biologische Anbauweise praktiziert und seit 2017 werden biodynamische Praktiken umgesetzt. Der Weinberg ist auf vorphylloxerischen Terrassen angelegt, die vor über 200 Jahren gebaut wurden, und hat ein Durchschnittsalter von über 100 Jahren. Tief und frisch, ist der URTIGA 2018 sehr elegant und verführerisch. Er zeigt einen langen und strukturierten Abgang, reife Tannine sowie eine außergewöhnliche Frische und Lebhaftigkeit. Der URTIGA ist der höchste Ausdruck des einzigartigen Terroirs des Douro. Ein Erbe der Natur in seiner reinsten Form.
