Ein bemerkenswertes Jahr für Portugal. 1974 brachte die Wiederherstellung der Demokratie. Die diesjährige Ernte brachte sehr gute Weine hervor, aber aufgrund der politischen und wirtschaftlichen Unsicherheit entschieden wir uns, keinen Vintage Port abzufüllen. Wir haben jedoch die besten Parzellen für eine längere Reifung in Eichenfässern ausgewählt, wobei diese Weine mittlerweile fast ein halbes Jahrhundert alt sind. Dekantieren nicht erforderlich. Leicht gekühlt servieren. Nach dem Öffnen innerhalb von 6–8 Wochen trinken.
