Die Nase des Celery Rutte Dry Gin ist auf den ersten Blick recht traditionell. Wacholder, Koriander und Angelika mit einer leichten erdigen Note, am Gaumen jedoch voller grün-pflanzlicher Noten. Es gibt viel Wacholder, prickelnd mit einer grünen Kiefernnote; Sellerieblätter, Zitronenschale und Koriander im mittleren Gaumen. Der Abgang wird etwas dichter mit einer kräftigen Selleriestange und gerissenem schwarzem Pfeffer. Der Abgang ist mittellang, mit angenehmer Schärfe, anhaltendem Pfeffer und Wacholder. Die Sellerienoten ergänzen sich recht gut und das Gesamtgeschmacksprofil ist nicht sehr zeitgemäß. Viel Wacholder und traditionelle Gin-Gewürze runden den Geschmack ab. Ich könnte sogar vorschlagen, dass dies ein klassischer Gin mit einem Hauch Sellerie ist. Er ist nicht aufdringlich und gut ausbalanciert. Mehr Sellerie von einem Gin mit Selleriegeschmack? Insgesamt recht angenehm.“
