Der Courvoisier VSOP Special Edition Triple Oak 1L, hergestellt von einem der vier führenden Cognac-Häuser der Welt, ist wahrhaftig ein verfeinertes Ausdruck des Cognac-Handwerks. Gegründet im Jahr 1828, erlangte Courvoisier den Ruf als der "Napoleons Cognac" aufgrund der angeblichen Vorliebe des Kaisers. Dieser besondere Cognac reift in französischen Eichenfässern, wo er seine fruchtigen Noten erhält, und die Komplexität wird durch die Reifung in traditionellen Cognac-Fässern verfeinert. Den letzten Schliff erhält er durch die Vermählung in alten Holzfässern. Mit einer reichen bernsteinfarbenen Farbe verströmt er ein verlockendes Aroma von Vanille, gerösteten Nüssen und Trockenfrüchten. Am Gaumen zeigt er sich komplex, mit floralen Noten und einer Süße von Vanille und gerösteten Nüssen. Sein Abgang ist bemerkenswert lang und blumig und hinterlässt einen bleibenden Eindruck am Gaumen.
