Vinos de los Herederos del Marqués de Riscal war seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 1858 das Pionierweingut in Rioja. Es war das erste Unternehmen, das in Fässern gereifte Rioja-Weine herstellte. Die lebendigen Gefühle des Marqués de Riscal nehmen in der Stadt des Weins Gestalt an, wo Tradition und Avantgarde in perfekter Harmonie koexistieren.
Hergestellt aus den Sorten Tempranillo und Graciano aus über 15 Jahre alten Weinbergen. Es wird von Hand geerntet und 24 Monate in amerikanischen Eichenfässern gereift. Balsamisches Aroma mit Noten von reifen Früchten, im Mund ist er frisch, leicht und anhaltend, mit weichen und runden Tanninen.
Dieser Wein passt gut zu Schinken, weniger reifem Käse, Eintöpfen mit weniger scharfen Soßen, gekochten oder gedünsteten Hülsenfrüchten, Geflügel, rotem Fleisch, gegrilltem und gebratenem Fleisch.
