Auf dem Einstiegsqualitätsniveau der Weine der Real Companhia Velha hat der Evel seit vielen Jahren einen soliden Ruf. Der Wein Evel wird aus den Weinbergen der berühmten Quinta do Casal da Granja und Quinta do Cidrô hergestellt, die sich in den Gemeinden Alijó bzw. S. João da Pesqueira befinden.
Vinifikation des Evel Reserva Tinto: Hergestellt aus Parzellen alter Reben, erfolgt die Gärung in Edelstahltanks mit Temperaturkontrolle. Der gesamte Wein reift 12 Monate in neuen französischen Eichenfässern in Vila Nova de Gaia.
