Rum El Dorado ist ein einzigartiger Rum, da er der einzige Rum im Stil des "Rum Demerara" ist und die ältesten noch in Betrieb befindlichen Holzbrennblasen der Welt besitzt, von denen einige bis ins 17. Jahrhundert zurückreichen. Ein außergewöhnlicher Premium-Amber-Rum, leicht vollmundig und in Ex-Bourbon-Fässern gereift. Der El Dorado 8 Jahre ist das Ergebnis des Wissens der Master Blenders, bestehend aus Rums, die aus mindestens vier der traditionellen Holzbrennblasen stammen, die in der Destillerie von Demerara erhalten sind, darunter die originale hölzerne Coffey-Brennblase von Enmore und die doppelte hölzerne Brennblase von Port Mourant. Dieser Rum ist eine komplexe Verschmelzung von stark vollmundigem und geschmacksintensivem Rum mit einem weicheren Rum.
