Dichter Tintenkern, der zu einem magentafarbenen Rand verblasst. Eine verführerische Croft-Nase, reif und üppig, aber mit der Tiefe und Dichte, die für den Jahrgang 2017 charakteristisch ist. Wie immer bilden dicke und saftige Johannisbeeren, Schwarzkirschen und Himbeeren den Hintergrund. Die Nase wird jedoch bald in einen komplexen und berauschenden Aromastrudel hineingezogen, in dem sich harzige Aromen von Eukalyptus und Gummibärchen mit scharfen Noten von Salbei und Minze, frischen Anklängen von Grapefruit und einer sanften Würze vermischen. Im Mund werden feste und kräftige Tannine von einer dicken Hülle mit einer dichten und samtigen Textur umhüllt. Wie so oft ist dies einer der exotischsten und verführerischsten Weine des Jahrgangs.
