So wie die Figur, die ihn inspiriert, ist Aeternus ein seltener Wein aufgrund seiner Geschichte. Er entsteht in den besten Weinbergen, die auf den Terrassen der Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo gepflanzt sind, einem jahrhundertealten Weinberg von 2,5 Hektar, der 0,4 kg pro Pflanze produziert, mit einer Sonnenexposition nach Südwesten und einer Pflanzdichte von etwa 6000 Pflanzen pro Hektar. Aeternus ist eine Hommage an ein ewiges Werk, an einen Mann, der das Land, die Familie und die Arbeit liebte.
