Weinbereitung: Die Trauben aus dem Weinberg Maria Teresa wurden in 22-kg-Kisten transportiert und an einem Sortiertisch am Eingang des Weinguts einer strengen Sortierung unterzogen. Nach dem vollständigen Entsteppen und Treten in einer traditionellen Weinpresse wurde der Most in temperaturkontrollierte Gärtanks aus Edelstahl überführt. Am Ende der alkoholischen Gärung erfolgte eine sanfte Pressung. Alterung: Quinta do Crasto Vinha Maria Teresa 2017 reifte in 100 % neuen Eichenfässern, 90 % französischer Eiche und 10 % amerikanischer Eiche, wo er etwa 20 Monate blieb. Die endgültige Charge entsteht aus der besten Auswahl an Fässern.

Am Gaumen beginnt er kompakt und entwickelt sich zu einem sehr verführerischen Wein, in dem wir Tannine mit weicher Textur in perfekter Harmonie mit Retro-Nasennoten finden, die an frische Waldaromen erinnern. Es endet auf sehr fesselnde Weise, in perfekter Ausgewogenheit und mit ausgezeichneter Ausdauer.
In der Nase beeindruckt es durch seine außergewöhnliche Komplexität und aromatische Frische, wobei elegante Noten von Zistrose, Douro-Wildfrüchten und Gewürzen hervorstechen.
