Das Quinta do Passadouro stammt aus dem 18. Jahrhundert und ist seit jeher berühmt für seine Portweine. Das Anwesen befindet sich in der Unterregion Cima Corgo, nahe dem Dorf Pinhão. Das extreme Klima, tagsüber heiß, aber nachts kalt, bedeutet, dass die Trauben langsamer reifen als in anderen Regionen des Douro, was den Weinen Frische verleiht. Dies führt zu Ernten von bester Qualität.
