Vinifikation des Herdade do Freixo Reserva Tinto 2019: Die Trauben der verschiedenen ausgewählten Sorten werden entsprechend ihrem idealen Reifezustand in 20-kg-Kisten geerntet und sofort vinifiziert. Die Entrappung und der Transport durch Schwerkraft zu den Gärbehältern erfolgt 20 Tage lang bei gemäßigten Temperaturen mit längerer Mazeration, die diesem Wein eine extreme aromatische Komplexität verleiht. Seine 12-monatige Reifezeit in neuem französischem Holz verleiht ihm bemerkenswerte Komplexität und Eleganz. Die Flaschenreifung erfolgt über mehr als 8 Monate.
