Vinifikation des Tinto Carm Grande Reserva 2018: Trauben, die sich nicht in perfektem Zustand befanden, wurden entfernt, vollständig entrappt, sanft zerkleinert und mit Thermoschock behandelt, gefolgt von einer Kaltmazeration vor der Gärung in einer Mühle für etwa 12 bis 24 Stunden Die Teige wurden in breite, niedrige Gärbottiche überführt, wo sie etwa 10 Tage lang bei Temperaturen zwischen 24 und 26 °C fermentierten. Die malolaktische Gärung erfolgte auf natürliche Weise und endete Ende Dezember, ein Teil des Weins wurde in Holzfässern vergoren. Reifung: 12 Monate in neuen französischen Eichenfässern, extra fein gemasert
Sehr konzentriert, warm, mit festen Tanninen und weicher Textur, sehr intensiver und anhaltender Abgang, der die Stärke der Douro-Superior-Weine deutlich zum Ausdruck bringt
Sehr frisch und intensiv, wobei Noten von wilden schwarzen Früchten und schwarzen Kirschen im Gleichgewicht mit verführerischen „Lakritznuancen“ vorherrschen und das Aroma durch Holznoten komplexiert wird
