Zur Feier der Hochzeit von Prinz Harry und Meghan Markle am Samstag, dem 19. Mai 2018, wurde dieser seltene Tawny aus dem Jahr 1982 von der Familie Symington aus den besten Weinen in ihrem Sortiment ausgewählt.
Dieser Portwein aus dem Jahr 1982 reifte in reifen Eichenfässern in der ursprünglichen Graham's Lodge von 1890 und hat eine wundervolle goldbraune Farbe mit einem bernsteinfarben-orangefarbenen Rand. Die Nase ist wunderschön aromatisch mit einer herrlichen Palette von Vanille, weichem Karamell und Quitte, kombiniert mit exotischen, würzigen Noten von Zimt und Muskatnuss. Im Mund ist er samtig, mit polierter Eleganz und Noten von Honig, Rosinen und Karamell, perfekt ausbalanciert durch ein Rückgrat aus Orangenschale, Säure und feinkörnigen Tanninen. Der Abgang ist sanft mit einem nussigen Mandelgeschmack, der am Gaumen anhält.
