Madeira Tinta-Negra Vinhas Velhas das Vinhas Mantas 2008Este colheita 2008 foi produzido com uvas da centenária “Vinha das Mantas”, situada acima dos 550 metros na Freguesia do Jardim da Serra, Estreito de Camara de Lobos. Pisa a pé com fermentação à temperatura controlada de 15 graus durante duas semanas, tendo sido fortificado ainda com as massas no lagar. O vinho foi passado a limpo 48h após a interrupção da fermentação. As massasremanescentes foram prensadas logo de seguida na prensa vertical tendo sido misturado com o vinho limpo. Foi utilizado um casco com a capacidade de 700 litros para envelhecer o vinho, o qual não foi atestado completamente a fim de ter contacto imediato com o oxigénio. O envelhecimento teve lugar no armazém E, muito quente no verão e bastante frio no inverno. Em Julho 2023 foram engarrafadas 1043 unidades, todas numeradas.
