Quinta do Vesúvio TintoA Touriga Franca, das parcelas de vinha ao alto do Vale da Teja e a Touriga Nacional, com origem nas vinhas da Quinta Nova, situadas a cerca de 450 metros de altitude, constituem todos os anos os pilares do lote do Quinta do Vesúvio DOC Douro. A vinha da Quinta Nova foi adquirida por Dª Antónia Adelaide Ferreira em meados do século XIX, a qual não poderia imaginar que estas vinhas em cota elevada se revelariam tão valiosas para os tintos da propriedade, no início do século XXI.

Boca ampla e envolvente, com uma textura sedosa e cativante que revela frutos pretos maduros e apontamentos de cacau amargo. Os taninos, finos e bem integrados, sustentam uma estrutura imponente, equilibrada por uma acidez refrescante, característica de um ano de clima moderado. O final é persistente e sofisticado, deixando subtis notas de chá e tabaco seco.
Destaque à fragrância floral de rosas, assim como tomilho e notas delicadas de chão de floresta e resina de pinheiro.
