DER WEIN 1872 Quinta da Foz Touriga Nacional 2020 hebt sich in der langen Geschichte der Quinta da Foz als ein unvergängliches Datum hervor, verewigt in der Inschrift eines Steins an der Fassade des Haupthauses, der die Gründung der Quinta markiert. Um ein ewiges Werk zu feiern und die Männer und Frauen zu ehren, die sich über Jahrhunderte hinweg um die Weinberge gekümmert haben, haben wir einen besonderen Wein geschaffen, der von diesem Erbe inspiriert ist. Selten, erhaltenswert, mit historischer Persönlichkeit, erzählt er uns von der langen Tradition der Quinta da Foz. Für diese Sonderedition wurde sorgfältig eine Cuvée ausschließlich aus der Königin der Rebsorten, der Touriga Nacional, hergestellt. Dieser Wein entsteht durch die Auswahl der besten Touriga Nacional-Reben in unseren alten Weinbergen.

Gute vegetative Noten, die an den Weinberg und seinen Boden erinnern. Am Gaumen zeigt er ein gutes Volumen, runde und junge Tannine. Er endet frisch, mit Präsenz junger Tannine.
Intensives Aroma mit Noten von Früchten und gut gereiften floralen Noten. Mit einem präsenten, aber gut integrierten und dezenten Holz, das zu einer sehr komplexen Gesamtkomposition mit süßen Noten, einigen Gewürzen führt und die floralen Noten der Rebsorte lebendig hält.
