Heller Mahagonikern, umgeben von einem breiten hellgoldenen Rand mit dezenten olivgrünen Akzenten. Auf den ersten Blick wirkt der Wein ätherisch, doch schon bald entfalten sich Schicht für Schicht mehrdimensionale Aromen. Als erstes kommen Noten von gesägtem Holz und Zigarrenblättern auf einem Hintergrund aus Zeder, Balsam und Zitrusfrüchten zum Vorschein. Es folgt eine sanfte und sanfte Duftnote aus Marzipan, Nüssen und Kaffee, mit Anklängen von Sultaninen und Pflaumen sowie würzigen Noten von schwarzem Pfeffer und Kardamom. Schließlich öffnet sich die Nase zu einer dezent salzigen Dimension mit Noten von Toast und Wildkräutern. Im Mund hat der Wein eine weiche und samtige Textur. Reichhaltig, dicht und üppig, umhüllt er die Zunge mit einem opulenten und wunderbaren Geschmack von Kaffee und Karamell mit Noten von Walnuss und kandierter Orangenschale, aber mit einer bemerkenswerten Frische durch den Strom lebendiger Säure, der durch den Gaumen bis zum sehr langen Abgang fließt außergewöhnliches Finish. Ein wunderbar eleganter Portwein, fein komponiert und wunderschön gereift, der jedem eine Welle reicher Aromen verleiht
