Undurchsichtige violette Farbe, fast schwarz, mit einem sehr schmalen violetten Halo. Klassische Nase, mit einem intensiven, fast berauschenden Aroma von Wildfrüchten. Fruchtig ist kraftvoll, aber gleichzeitig sehr fein und komplex. Die dichten Aromen von Brombeere und Cassis bilden die Basisnote für die mentholhaltigen und balsamischen Düfte aromatischer Kräuter und den harzigen Charakter von Zistrose. Dezente Noten von exotischem Holz, Lakritze und schwarzem Pfeffer sorgen für eine zusätzliche Dimension der Komplexität. Der Gaumen ist um einen dichten Kern aus schwarzen Früchten aufgebaut und die Tannine sorgen mit ihrem dichten, geschlossenen Gewebe für Struktur und Volumen zugleich. Himbeer- und Pflaumenaromen verleihen dem langen, üppigen Abgang Frische und Leichtigkeit.
