Das Weingut Adega José de Sousa Rosado Fernandes existiert seit 1878 und wurde 1986 von José Maria da Fonseca erworben, um den alten Traum zu verwirklichen, im Alentejo Wein zu produzieren, auf einem Anwesen voller Prestige und Geschichte. Es befindet sich in Reguengos de Monsaraz, wo eine Tradition lebendig gehalten wird, die vor über 2000 Jahren von den Römern begonnen wurde. Das Weingut José de Sousa besitzt 114 Tonamphoren, in denen eine uralte Fermentationsmethode angewandt wird.
