Seltenheit!!! Der Geruch erfüllt sofort den ganzen Raum. Keine Klarheit. Der süßeste der Schmeichler steigt in der Nase auf. Er erinnert an Weine aus dem Süden, Marsala. Dahinter liegt weit hinten, aber erkennbar, etwas Säure, Leder. Nach einiger Zeit stehen saftige Orangen im Vordergrund, gewürzt mit Nelken. Ich möchte nicht trinken, sondern inhalieren. Alles wirkt perfekt harmonisch und rund, aber voller Charakter. Ein cremiges und recht leichtes Mundgefühl. Noten von süßem Wein und dunkler Schokolade konkurrieren. Aber die Bitterkeit ist zurückhaltend, sie geht fast in Richtung Vollmilch. Die typischen getrockneten roten Früchte des Sherrys sind ebenfalls vorhanden: Rosinen, Pflaumen, süße Datteln. Und dann kommt die Eiche. Der Abgang ist dunkler und säuerlicher als der Eindruck im Mund. Die Eiche und die Bitterkeit werden stärker. Leichte Noten von Espresso-Kaffee kommen hinzu. Das Finish ist ziemlich lang und offenbart das Alter des Whiskys. Die Zunge klebt am Gaumen und verlangt nach mehr.""
