Der Porto Poças Vintage 2018 ist ein kraftvoller und eleganter Portwein, hergestellt aus einer bemerkenswerten Ernte im Douro, die eine perfekte Reifung der Trauben und ideale klimatische Bedingungen vereinte. Zwei Jahre lang in Eichenfässern gereift, bevor er abgefüllt wurde, zeigt dieser Vintage eine intensive und undurchsichtige rubinrote Farbe. In der Nase offenbart er komplexe Aromen reifer schwarzer Früchte wie Brombeere und Kirsche, begleitet von Noten von Gewürzen, dunkler Schokolade und einem subtilen floralen Hauch. Am Gaumen ist er vollmundig, mit robusten und gut integrierten Tanninen, lebendiger Säure und einem langen, markanten Abgang.
